On March 15, 1992, a non-profit organization was established called the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Foundation to provide educational, leadership, financial assistance, and other charitable functions for Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity.

Seven graduate brothers met during the 1992 American Pharmaceutical Association annual meeting in San Diego at the San Diego Marriott and approved by-laws and elected officers, with Dr. Norman A. Campbell being elected as the first President. The Foundation was officially incorporated on February 16, 1993 in Wilmington, Delaware. Subsequently, the Foundation was granted a tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.

The purposes and objectives of the Foundation are exclusively charitable, scientific, education and literary. As stipulated in the Foundation by-laws, the specific objectives of the Foundation include:

One of the initial goals of the Foundation was to develop a scholarship program to help deserving Kappa Psi brothers to complete their pharmacy education and become contributing members of the pharmacy profession. This goal was first realized in 1995 when the first 2 scholarships were awarded in the amount of $500 each. Since that time, the Foundation has grown and now contributes $12-14k in scholarships every year to deserving collegiate brothers. In order to continue this meaningful tradition, the Foundation needs the support of all of our graduate brothers! Please consider making a contribution to the Foundation, to help support its goals, the Fraternity, and our profession.
